SortedDesk

Spreadsheets and planners that work first time.

A small studio making quiet, working files: budgets that handle council tax and payday, planners with one job per page, and kits for the occasions people actually plan for.

The shop opened in September 2026 and everything in it is new. There's 40% off the whole shop until 17 October.

What we make

Three kinds of file, and nothing else

Money spreadsheets

Budgets, trackers and calculators built around how UK money actually behaves — bills by direct debit, council tax over ten months, income that arrives in lumps.

For example: UK Household Budget · Debt Payoff Planner, snowball or avalanche on one switch · Sinking Funds Tracker · Side Hustle Profit Tracker

Planners and printables

One job per page. Big boxes, bold headings, nothing decorative to keep up with. Designed to be printed at home on any printer, or filled in on a tablet.

For example: Brain Dump & Sort Sheets — six pages that sort the list instead of just holding it

Occasion kits

The moments when people go looking for a planner and want it finished, not designed: Christmas, a wedding, a new baby, moving house.

For example: Christmas Dinner Planner with a cooking timeline calculator · Secret Santa questionnaire and draw kit

How it's made

Boring on purpose

Every spreadsheet is checked in Excel, Google Sheets and Numbers before it goes on sale, because a budget that breaks when you open it is worse than no budget. Printables ship as A4 and US Letter, so the margins are right wherever you are.

Formats
Spreadsheets as .xlsx that open in Excel, Google Sheets and Apple Numbers. Printables as PDF in A4 and US Letter.
Delivery
Instant download after checkout. Nothing is posted; nothing needs an account or a subscription.
Currencies
Money spreadsheets come in a GBP edition and a USD edition where the difference matters.
AI
These products are designed and built with the help of AI tools for drafting and layout, then checked and finished by a person. Every listing says so, and we'd rather tell you than not.

The Shop Starter Kit

For anyone thinking about selling digital files themselves. Two things, no cost, no upsell:

  • A two-page checklist for opening a digital shop properly the first time
  • A fee calculator that shows what you actually keep per sale

You'll also get a short weekly note about running this shop in the open — what was listed, what got looked at, and what didn't work. Numbers of listings and views, not earnings claims. Unsubscribe whenever.

Who

A one-person studio in Liverpool

SortedDesk is run by Aly. The shop is new and growing steadily rather than all at once, and the weekly note is an honest record of that — including the products nobody bought.
